About Me

My name is Ali Northern and my passion is organizing. Ever since I can remember, I have liked things in order. In high school, I color categorized my closet for the first time, and knew that I love being organized. As time went on, my interest in organizing grew. For fun, I researched organizing products and organized rooms for my friends and family. The past three years have confirmed to me that I needed to turn my passion into a professional organizing business. In the beginning of 2006, I founded my own business called Organize With Ali! My company is dedicated to helping people sort through their clutter, develop an organizing system and reclaim their space.

I graduated from the Indiana University Kelly School of Business with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and International Business. After college, I worked as an Executive Assistant for a CFO of a major communications company. Two years ago, I left that position to stay at home with my children. I am a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO). I have taken numerous classes in professional organizing and continue to educate myself on the latest theories, books and methods in professional organizing. I attended the 2006 NAPO annual conference in Boston and am a member of Indy Organizers.

My husband and I have two wonderful children, ages seven and three. I enjoy spending time with my husband, children, family and friends. I am also actively involved in our church and love to play the drums.

My philosophy revolves around keeping things simple. I have a passion for understanding my client's needs and developing personalized systems that help them re-claim their lives. With my expertise, I can work with you to decrease stress and overwhelming feelings due to chaos and clutter. My goal is to help you simplify your life.
